Too much $$$ for a '94 FD Touring

Hey all,
Is $22,900 too much to pay for a 1994 RX7 with 17K miles in mint condition?

If it is mint condition & has all service records, then no..

It also depends on the area of the country...

A 1994 with 17k, obviously this means the car hasn't been driven much and has been sitting around collecting dust. I know and have heard that rx7s need to be driven otherwise the motor will get carboned and when driven hard will let off chucks of carbon buildup and result in the motor blowing up. Is this true?

It can happen.. The best way to beat this is to do a ATF Treatment..

Do a search on ATF and you can find out how to do this.....

It may require more than 1 treatment to clean it all out...

well, carbon doesn't just grow on the rotors - it gets there from driving. Carbon buildup happens (supposedly) when the driving that is happening is overly ginger. Rotary engines aren't too bad to sit around because through the OMP, oil will usually seep into the housing while it's sitting (it kind of "leaks" into the housing), so the engine is lubed up as soon as you start the car.

Think of it this way, you won't find another 7 with on 17K miles on it. I would get it.

Your right, I would sell my '93 Touring Model with 9560 miles on it for $22,900.

Sounds good to me.
