Throttlebody coolant leak
It took me awhile to figure this one out, one of the coolant lines going to throttlebody is leaking. For the longest time I've been getting random wisps of "smoke" coming from somewhere by the turbos or exhaust piping. It finally has gotten to the point where I can hear it and after some reading figured it out.
Have any of you run into this problem? And any suggestions as how to remove the throttlebody intakes and such would be greatly appreciated. A link or two would be great. Thanks guys, Dave |
only 1 coolant line to the TB. just replace those hose if its leaking, or do the coolant delete mod. its in the FAQ i think

It should be fairly easy to spot once I get in there, I was just wondering if there is anything I should watch out for, be careful not to do, etc... while I'm pulling things apart.

Well I think I'll replace the turbo coolant lines and whatever else I can get to while I'm digging into things

Turbo coolant lines are no where near there. There is a hose from the back of the rear iron of the motor that goes to the throttle body and another on that goes under it.
