throttle body rebuild

Hey guys, I'm not in this section often, but I searched around for a bit. I got an fd upper intake manifold/throttle body setup and my throttle body needs a good cleaning. I actually want to disassemble it and do a rebuild and not just spraying it down.

I saw a thread, I forgot to check the date, and one of the members was talking about the seals inside and he didn't want to release the information until he made sure his throttle body rebuild went well.

Oh yeah, were there any popular TPS sensors people use instead of the oem mazda unit? I just checked mazdatrix and its not too expensive @ a little less than $200. But if I could get away with a less expensive tps with a little more work, that would be something I would great. I got my throttle body with no tps Thanks in advance!

The OEM TPS is the only one available IIRC. You can pick up a good condition used one in the classifieds or PM Fritz or Allrotor93. They have most stuff in stock.

If you really want a new one give Ray Crowe a call, let him know you're on rx7club and he will give you the best price around.
