threw 2 engine codes

I threw out these 2 codes this morning..

9 Water thermosensor
40 Solenoid valve - purge control (auxilary port valve)

I know how to replace the water thermosensor but I have no idea where the solenoid valve is.. also does anyone know where I can get a replacement? thanks
