Those running Blitz DSBC - your settings?

I installed the Blitz DSBC spec R boost controller for stock sequential twins and PFC.

My setting is 30 with a gain of 5. This gives me about 0.8 bars of boost.

If I run higher than 30, I started to see reduced boost. For example, at 50 I'm seeing only 8 lbs on both turbos.

What are your settings and boost level?

Good thing I had water injection because I overboosted to 1.1 bars or 17 psi and hit fuel cut off.

hmmm. well, i have a blitz sbc, but i dont think mine is the "r". My settings are in psi, so i just dial in a little higher than what i actually want it to run, seems to work well. i think my gain is 7 or 8.

I was wondering the same thing. I have the Dual SBC Spec-S and i have no idea how to set it. If anyone has the settings to run 11 psi please post.

settings...
GAIN
RATIO
WARNING/ALARM
SCRAMBLE/CUTOFF
1
2
3
4

Im still not sure what it is you're wanting? I have mine set at 11.8 psi, and my gain is at 7 or 8.

Ill look tonight to see if i can be of anymore help?

Running a GT3574:
GAIN 30
RATIO 26
WARNING/ALARM 1.1 bar then reduce ratio by 20
SCRAMBLE/CUTOFF 0 and 0

I have an A-spec long runner manifold with a JGS 50mm gate. So far this has given me a max boost of 1.15 bar (which is where I want it). Boost builds fast to 15 lbs, then peaks shortly after the warning is hit. I've only had it for two weeks and I'm still setting it. The controller is absolutely great and the boost reacts even to small adjustments.

Make sure to set the warning/cutoff so that you do not overboost.

Great directions for this controller are here:

Is the 1234 just for different boost settings??
for example

1. 8 psi
2. 10 psi
3. 13 psi
4. 15 psi

Yep, it's good for dialing in the boost. I started with 15, 20, 25, 30 and a gain of 5. The controller lets you easily change the ratio with the 4 settings while driving to dial in the maximum boost, then you can start increasing the gain which gives faster spool.

Gday guys, sorry to bump the old thread up, but that link doesnt work, has the article been posted anywhere else? The main thing im curious about is the switch on the back for WG or AC, what should it be set too with stock sequential twins?

using version 2 of that vac-line diagram that floats around.

moehler 10-18-11 06:18 PM

I believe it should be set to AC for actuator controlled wastegates (stock) vs WG for external wastegates.

Here is a new link (same info as the old link):

here's the user manual:
