third gauge in 3 gauge pod? (boost, water temp, ?)

I was pretty floored to find out this car didn't come with a boost gauge so I ordered a 3 gauge 52mm center pod for some added gauges.

So far I have boost, water temp and I'm kind of scratching my head what to put in the third one.

The car is stock. No current plans to do anything but drive it and tackle reliability type mods.

P.S. Wife says she wants a clock.

I'd go with an AFR gauge.

If you have a PFC, the boost and water temp gauges become useless with view of the Commander. It also has a peak function to reference.

AFR and EGT are two big ones.

If you are limited to 3 and want more functions, then I recommend looking into PLX gauges. You can monitor, peakhold, and warn up to 6 metrics per gauge. They are pretty damn nifty. The price is also pretty reasonable considering quality gauges aren't cheap.

The thing about the PLX gauges is you need to stuff a rather bulky module somewhere. Not that much room depending on what you`re getting.

If your oil pressure gauge is flaky, I`d opt for that, or even fuel pressure.

You probably don't need anything else if you plan on staying completely stock, if they haven't shipped your 3 gauge pod maybe ask to change your order to a dual instead?

Between my boost controller, microtech, and quad gauge pod I monitor fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, dual egt, boost pressure, AFR, intake temperature and more. I feel those are the most important. If you need more options though I can keep going : )

I would say AFR.

I'll second the PLX gauges as a great option. I have boost / vac, water temp and AFR on one gauge.

I have a second slot with an Aquamist flow gauge.
