thermostat install?
I did a search for it and didnt find any howto or anything, is this something I should be trying myself? I heard from a few poeple that it takes about an hour and its pretty easy.. so does anyone have any steps/pictures? hehe
thanks nick |
go to the filler neck. 3 10mm bolts are holding it in place. If something's in your way so that you can't get to any of the bolts, move it. Pull out old thermostat. Put in new one. It can be held in place with silicone sealant. Installation is in reverse.:D

installed it, was really easy and didnt take long at all, car is running alot better now, also what should the water temp be normally?
thanks nick |
Anywhere from 85C on the low side to 110C on the high depending on ambient temps and driving style. If you are getting above 110C then it is probably a good idea to turn the heat on full blast to cool off a bit.
