Exclamation Thank you God and forum members

It all started this Saterday when I made a couple of runs on at a track. I knew I shouldn't have made the runs but i really wanted to see what times I put out.(They both went badly Im a NOOB and still learning my car.) After the second run my car died at the end of the track started it back up without too much problem but it wouldnt idle. When i let off the gas it would die and when i gave it gas black smoke came out the exhaust. I let it cool down for an hour or two then started it back up again the idle sent from 300rpm to around 550rpm. The whole way home i was praying that it was something other then a apex seal cause i dont have the money for it right now. Im 17 and dont have a job(<- thats changing soon). Got on the forum too see what i could find. Spent a couple hours reading different posts and finally found the answer i was looking for= MAP sensor. Sorry for the length of the post but I just wanted to thank everybody the posts and replies on the forum you ppl saved me a **** load of $ .

I'm glad you had an easy fix. I guess I'm a nueb when it comes to the FD's as well. These guys are great. My hats off to you guys as well. I'm learning a bunch by reading all of your posts.
