well i was stolen about 9 months ago, got 12k in settelment and kept the car, dumped the 12k back into it, burnout flares, burnout front fenders, carbon FEED side skirts, Carbon RE rear diffuser with Carbon center channel, Carbon underbelly pan, RPF1's custom painted gold.... might redo them black with a red pin stripe. Brembo BBK, Full susspesion, decided to rebuild the motor for the hell of it, its ready to rock, for those of you who don't know whats under the hood :

half bridge motor
GT45R
alky injection(thanks to BDC and ALKY control)
complete fuel system and blah blah blah
way to much to list out.

repainted the car with house of kolur hot rod black ( satin black )

and much more that im sure im forgetting

Nice! I really am digging the braided fuel lines with the Y block on top of the UIM, very original. Looking forward to the finished project.

bzwigart 11-26-08 06:31 PM

Looking forward to seeing it completed. What size wheel/tire you running in the rear?

cabaynes 11-28-08 02:35 AM

Can't wait to see the end results!

7_rocket 11-28-08 07:26 AM

Is it safe to have those Fuel lines Y'ed like that on top of the uim?

fritts 11-28-08 08:00 AM

Two comments why would you run the regulator over the top of a hot turbine and downpipe... Just plain asking for trouble, we have enough engine fires as is. Also what is going on with the hot side of your ic piping straighten that mess out.

MOBEONER 11-28-08 06:19 PM

hes in a rush to drive the damn thing..lol

tt7hvn 11-28-08 06:33 PM

when you're in a rush you make mistakes and consistently second guess yourself

then when you take it out something goes wrong and you wonder why

i won't though, i'll know why....you ghetto rigged your car.

3rdgensleeper 11-29-08 02:36 PM

hey i'm posting from a cell phone so i'll answer all your re re questions when i get home i'm not rigging my engine bay and i'm not rushing it at all.... What you see is a very unfinished project.... The body is what is almost done not the engine bay so please if you have a problem how something is in the engine bay shove it up you ass lol cause thats not done, and there are reasons i did some of that i did so let me get to my house to explain these before you few think you know to much :) have a great day more pics coming.

I'm sorry to hear that, must mean you never have done a project and have it get slightly dirty in the process, im not to sure what your calling "Gheettooooooo" but please what ever it is please let me know, i would love to fix it for you. :)

Thanks man, the wheels are 17" x 10.5" all around +15 offset, and rear tires are 295/35r17, i also have some work wheels, and those will be wrapped in a 315 for the rears as soon as i find new barrels.

you would loose a lot of sleep in your projects, that is if you made sure EVERYthing was perfect before bedtime. im sorry my engine bay was to dirty for you its called body work being done in a close proximity to the motor. i will clean it up for you and post pics. thanks have a great day. :)

where is the coolest part of a motor?......... the intake air is.... where does that go through..... the UIM.... and the hood is vented keep that in mind i have low underhood temps.

ok First off i can see how you can be worried about this.... but i do have everything completely wrapped and a nice thick blanket on the hotside of the turbo, with the vents right above this area.... i have no problems with it, in fact i have ran this fuel system for a very long time and never had an issue. and "that mess" on the hotside of the IC pipping.... well i tried everything and could not get the angle to go straight down, the turbo is too high and the vent in the hood would hit it if i tried to make that bend, its a gt45r man its not a nice small turbo.

i didn't ghetto rig shit man i have no idea what your talking about, so don't come to me talking shit when you have nothing smart to say. if your calling an unfinished engine bay ghetto rigged your an idiot and just a sheep in a herd.

as for being in a rush.... lol thats funny, i have been working on the body for the past 6 months, 9months on drivetrain and suspension , and the motor in the mist of all that, the car was stolen so its not in the best of shape.... but i can promise you this.... the car will be cherry in a weeks time, just have to get everything back and sorted out.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys, i will be posting more pics later, as well as non-ghettoooooo engine bay pics for the ignorant people above :)

probably a smart move...

Rotary Noob 11-29-08 10:02 PM

No comment on engine bay...I would do it differently, but if it makes you happy, then bitchin. Because i cant resist though...I would have done that intake for the turbo different...I know its cramped...I dont argue that at all...but I would have tinkered with clocking the intake housing, and some mandrel U bend Aluminum tubing with a tig welder.

The body work on the other hand looks freaking awesome. Digging the satin black. Moar pics!

thanks man, yeah that hotside of the IC piping i will try redoing at a later date.... right now its functional, and doing its job of not popping off, i honestly tried everything on the front housing i tried clocking the housing every which way and i just couldn't get a nice angle.... i did tig the stainless all together and, its working for me as of now, and please remember all the bay has NOT been cleaned up at all yet, i'm doing the body and suspension first i have MUCH in store for the engine bay ;)

3rdgensleeper 11-30-08 01:32 AM
