Talking out loud.........

I tore apart my RX to do a few things.........
I sent my intake and throttle body to NC to be polished and removed my turbos to fix a leak on my secondary turbo. I ended up choising to get a brand new set of turbo's from mazdacomp. When I received them I decided to radius the secondary chambers to avoid problems in the future. A good friend of mine, Kevin Grough in florida, at True Cad Design did them (321-383-4713) and hopefully releived future edge cracking problems. He had built me a 185 hp Yamaha GP1200 Jet ski and is very knowledgable in Cad design, machining, and porting. While I was driving my truck home from there I blew a head gasket (at 42k miles), so now I have it apart. I do not know which one will be done first but I know which one I miss driving the most, the RX. Anyway, I cannot wait to get the RX running, I will post pictures of my polish job if they live up to my expectations for those of us on the east coast. These RX's are a labor of love and not for the weak of heart, so for most of you hang in there and have faith. I only wish more of us could get together and swap stoires, lots of good races coming up in florida like the 24 hrs of Daytona and 12 hrs of Sebring. Hope to see some of you there.

Happy Holidays,
André

You are right I was born in Montreal but immagrated to the States in the early 1960"s, my father was heavy involved in the National Defense Systems of the US. I have worked on USA's Space Shuttle System for 20 years and I am very proud of it. I have been in Trois-Rivière several times and enjoyed the old Can-Am races at Mont Tremblant.

Take Care,
André
