T-Bolt clamp or Constant Torque Clamps??

In your guys opinion which are better. I have been having issues lately with a couple of my cheapo IC clamps loosening up over time so I thought I would replace all of them at once. I have the Apexi GT FMIC installed with the stock y-pipe and elbow so there are 12 clamps total, does anyone know what sizes I need? I guess I could go measure them all but man I have been lazy lately, lol. Anyways, if anyone has any info or input on this let me know, thanks.

The two are not mutually exclusive. I have been using constant-torque screw type clamps from mcmaster.com for a long time without having one ever come loose. But you can also get t-bolt constant torque clamps that you can probably wrench down tighter (though what value that would have is not clear).

Constant torque? definitely
T-bolt? maybe

Max does it again

Once again MaxCooper tells me something I did not know. I mean geez I am an Mechanical Engineer. I have a McMaster on my desk! The constant torque clamps are much better but I've only seen the factory type (but then again I've never looked). The only down side of the factory style is they get weak over time. I mean a long time like 30k-50k miles or more. Most of the stock clamps on my car were pretty tired at 90k miles.

Thanks Max, I was going to go ahead and order some from McMaster one of these days, I just have to measure to make sure I get the right sizes for my Apexi FMIC couplers. Do you happen to know what the stock y-pipe and elbow sizes are? Thanks.
