suspension question
Hey guys anyone experience on your FD when Hitting a small bump while traveling like around 30mph or more the car rear end seems to sway. It even happens when changing lanes cause of the small bumps on the lanes. I was thinking of the Rear Toe end link bushing going bad, but when the car is lifted the rear tires shows no movement and can't find any play at any of the rear suspension bushing at all. Anyone came across this before???

Too much toe in or out can cause the rear to jump sideways when you hit a bump or pavement with different traction on each side.

if your rear suspension shows no slop it is either a settings issue as Dave correctly posts or tire pressure. check both rear shocks for any sign of hydraulic fluid.
reset your tires to 30 front 27-28 rear cold. align your car. 1.2 degrees neg camber front and rear, less than 1/8th toe in front and rear and zero thrust angle in the rear. let us know what you find. howard coleman |
