Suspension alignment

I just got a new set of rims and tires on my 7, and I am considering getting the alignment checked. I'm slightly worried that it may be off because the insides of the rear tires on the old rims were worn quite a bit more. However, that may be related to the fact that the previous owner somehow managed to get someone to mount a 275 tire on a 7.5" wide rim (yes it looked as bad as you think). Still, after what I ended up spending on my new tires I'm interested in getting it looked at.

Where should I go to get it checked? I work at a Saturn dealership, and I trust the techs there to do a good job on it, but I would like some other opinions. Should I take it to Mazda? Also, should I get it aligned to stone stock specs, or do I need to research it more and find out exactly what I need it to be.

The car is used mostly on the street, but it sees occasional strip and autoX action. Rims and tires are 18x9 w/ 275/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position on rear and 18x8.5 w/ 245/40 on front.

Thanks!

i would personally take it to a mazda dealer, take it to the people who deal with mazdas, not someone who deals with saturns, wether you trust them or not.

I would take it to a place that does good alignment work period. Not all places that does alignments can do 18" rims. If your car is lowered becareful when they try to put your car on the alignment rack, it may not clear. And by the way, every thing on the fd is adjustable. Rear camber and toe, front camber, caster and toe.

will, where is a good place in the city or in the bay that does good alignment work on a lowered car?

I've heard or 2 good shops in the Bay area. 1 is Custom Alignment in Mountain View. 2 is C2 automotive in Oakland. I haven't had either work on my car yet, but I've heard excellent reports about both.
