Sunroof needs "help" when cool outside...any fix?

As the title says, my sunroof always needs a little extra push up initially when I'm trying to get it to open up all the way. It vents fine, but when I want it to go back, it just feels like the motor or whatever is running it is low on juice. When it's hot out, it's fine. But usually at night when it's a little cooler, the above situation occurs.

Anyone experience this? Any fix to it? Adding grease or oil or something?

By the way, It's a 1994 glass sunroof.

Thanks

It happens to me all the time. I think its just because moisture gets stuck between the sunroof and the body, between the weather stripping and it may create a vacuum. It also just might be because of the extra cohesion of the moisture.

Mine doesn't happen when trying to vent the sunroof. It has no problem separating ftom the roof's liner. It has a tough time going from open/vented to just a notch more up to slide back.

Lubricate the rubber molding. Something like silicone spray should work.

Litium grease on the track and moving parts helps too.

Don't use Li grease. Clean the tracks and mechanisms and use a light lube.
