Sudden bostproblem on my FD

went for a drive some days ago, drove the car pretty hard for a little whilem then al of the sudden i lost half my bostm went from .9bar to about ,4 or .33bar
(stock is ,64bar)
it sounds like its leeking but the wierd thing is that it holds the low bost rocksolid no wariations,
Does the powerfc have a limpmode??
turbos seem finem transision works but just low bbost?!! (pisses me of, its booring driving it now)

The car has power FC, Downpipe, midpipe and catback +BIG performance fuelpressure regulator

any ideas???

Look for boost leaks or tears in the ductwork and connectors from the Y pipe to the intercooler, and from the intercooler to the throttle body.

If you are running the stock BOV system replace the CRV. Its the bov that connects to the secondary turbo. But do this quickly since you are leaking and your second turbo is spinning like crazy to make up the boost loss.

im not running the stock bov, i have the TuboXS HRFL
are you sure it is the second "bov"??

I agree with Retserof - take out all the couplers and inspect them carefully for cuts or tears. You may have to turn them inside-out to really see the tear.

It is not uncommon for a small tear to only open at a medium pressure, or that the leak is small enough you don't completely lose boost. But if you wait long enough, the tear will probably grow.

Your circumstances are not so unusual. Nobody on this planet understands the sequential system.

hehe:) true

Hmm, the Mazda guy that designed it probably understood it. He's probably retired in japan though.

IMO it's not the system operation that's so hard to understand, but trying to diagnose a failure. There are soooo many possible failure points.
