Strange gauge issue, stock gauges liquid filled?

So this is kind of an odd issue, I'm looking for any advice you guys might have.

I'm in the process of putting my car back together and noticed something strange. In my gauge cluster, my fuel level gauge seems to have some kind of condensation or liquid inside the gauge face itself. In fact, you can see a small drop of liquid (or something) hanging off the end of the needle. The paper face appears to be darker in a few spots as well making me think that the gauge is wet somehow.

I know a lot of gauges are liquid filled, what are the chances that my fuel level gauge is leaking internally? Obviously I can replace it but it's kind of a strange issue to have, just looking for any input in case other people have seen this.

I'll try and post a picture later as well..

I've never noticed such a thing, I've taken several gauge clusters apart completely, there's no liquid in the gauges. Condensation can happen anywhere, maybe the cluster isn't properly sealed?

Regardless, just take yours apart and find out

They are not liquid filled; probably condensation.
