strange BOV happenings?

I recently purchased an aftermarket BOV, its a Go- Fast-Bits twin trumpet ( aussie made) . I've just simply plumbed it in where the stock BOV goes and got rid of the CRV.
Now I've noticed that when I accellerate and boost ( in any gear 5-10psi)) when I hit the clutch I can hear the BOV from the drivers side window ( its right hand drive) pssssssss nicely so thats all good. But the strange thing is that when I dont put the engine under heavy load ( maybe 0 - 2 psi) and hit the clutch I hear what sounds like TWO quieter psssssss noises coming from the passengers side of the engine bay ( intake elbow side ) so I'm wondering if I'm hearing the BOV or have I got some sort of leak ( boost) somewhere.

It goes like this -

accellerate ( in any gear) to about 2-3psi , hit clutch and hear -pssssss - pssssssss and dies away. they are quickly right after each other but there are two.

But under heavy load ( 5-10psi) its just a loud PSSSSSSS from the BOV as it shouldSo what are there other two noises then?

also I have found recently that I have to really WOT to get any decent boost in ist gear, rest seem alright, dunno if this is related

From what i know you pretty much answered it your self. The more boost the more pssss sound, the less boost the less psss sound Your turbos need boost to make the psss sound.

not really G_Gilla.
the two seperate psssss noises makes sense at low boost vs. the loud one... but it leaves the question of needing more throttle to get decent boost in gear (1st).

that, i beleive is a boost leak from the BOV - tighten down any screws to close off the bleeding that is probably going on when you are on the throttle (i think you are bleeding some pressure through the new BOV).

if you get someone in your car to rev in neutral and put your hand in front of the trumpets, see if any air blows against it on boost - that'd be a leak.
