stock map sensor specifications
 

Im doing a final project for a class where im building a electronic boost gauge using a stepper motor. Im using the stock map sensor off the fd as an input and was wondring if anyone has a spec sheet for it. It would save me alot of time and testing.

Page F-167 of the FSM

im looking around f-167 and although there is map information, thats not exactly what im looking for. Im trying to find a mapping of voltage vs pressure. I have it hooked up right now and im seeing about 9.0v at 1bar (open atmosphere) By squeezing the balloon i have hooked on it i can get up to about 10.16v.

Aside from it being fun, without another gauge on it to tell me the boost im wasting my time :)

The MAP sensor is linear. The FSM gives a starting point (range actually) and a couple of operational points to check.

If you really want to be precise, you'll need a MityVac and a voltmeter.
