Steering Wheel Hub Adaptor
 

I did some searching and the most recent threads I could find were from 2012, I wanted to check in and see what people were running for hub adapters. I bought the Momo hub adapter thinking it would be a plug and play deal, it looks like I'd have to remove the clock spring and do a hack job. I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Though this says Miata I'm pretty sure it should work for the FD:

Any other options?

I'm using the works bell hub by splash.

It retains the clock spring and has a handy cutout for airbag plug and horn plug.

Its not the cheapest but you dont have to remove or modify your clock spring.

Although I have the short hub so its a bit tight in there once you fit wheel or quick release so ended up removing the airbag plug for more room.

Yup, I'm also running a works bell that has the airbag delete resistors. They have a short version and a long version so purchase accordingly. Long version is for either short quick release hubs like Works Bell QRS or no quick release and it's also a cast hub and that's why it's cheaper. Short hub is for standard length quick release such as the works bell rapfix, nrg, momo quick release, sparco quick release, ect. The short hub is milled from billet and that's why it's more expensive.

Works Bell here too. Got a kit with everything I needed from a miata site I think. Let me know if you need a link. I'm using the long version with no quick release.

I have a cheap boss hub I bought from Ebay. has provisions for the clock spring and you can stuff the airbag plug/wires in it. Ive used the boss hubs on all my cars with no issue. The airbag light is still on but I'll prolly just pull the bulb - you get what you pay for but it works well.

With a non-deep dish steering wheel. Works bell short hub with works bell QRS has the same spacing (if not very close to stock wheel) to the turn signal stalks. No need to extend your finger to signal.

I put a on my autox car years ago, works great, never had a problem. There is a street version as well.
