Starting Problems
Ever since I bought my 93, it occasionally wouldn't turn over after short rides. It would take about four tries then the starter would spin. Since the battery was old, I changed it, thinking that may be the problem. Well, while gassing up yesterday, the damn thing wouldn't turn over. I was standing there like a moron for 30 minutes. When I was about to give up for the fourth time, I shut the hood and my alarm went off. The light when on in my head and I checked the positive lead. To say it was toast is an understatement. The part that wraps around the positive post was basically a shell and broken in a few places. Hopefully, that was the reason for the intermittent starting problems. All of you out there with this problem, carefully inspect that lead.
