SS Fuel Hardline: Fuel question
 

Hey I am currently installing my Magnus GT42R turbo kit. Anyways, I have dual Nippondenso fuel pumps in the tank. They are Y together inside of the tank. Now my dad just got some free 1/4in hard line that can be used for fuel. It is rolled up so you have to bend it. It is SS line but the non-flexible stuff. I also have all of the fitting and T's for the line. I have ordered the RX7 store ultimate fuel system with 1000cc pri and 1600cc sec injectors. I want to know if this 1/4in line will flow enough to support my fuel system. I want to run my feed line from the Y in the gas tank, to the primary rail. Then I want to run the return line from the regulator back to the tank. BTW I have already ripped out the stock rubber lines and hard lines.

One last question:
Before I went single I converted my twins to non sequential. And one of the remaining lines came from the thrid fuel line that ran into a black cylinder that has three screw holes on top of it. From there a vac line runs up into a solenoid and then from the solenoid another vac line runs into the UIM. My quesiton is: Do I eliminate this whole line with my new setup? If not what do I do with it?

1/4" is too small. Stock is 5/16".

I think there was a post showing that the stock rails can support up to like 500hp before they start to become a problem, If you dont use your charcole chamber you could always use that line for fuel also, 2 feeds 1 return.

1/4 is to small the stock is near 5 /16 in dia , I went with 3/8 aircraft tubing from the pump connection , opened it up to fit on the lathe ,to the motor compartment .The fuel filter is 5/16 and located in the rear where you can change it in 2 or 3 minutes . All the tubes,hoses, hand made fittings back to the fuel pressure regulator are 5/16 ,with out any 90 degree elbows to slow the flow .

thanks guys i guess i have to get thicker line. But what do i do about that third line and the solenoid?
