srt4 fmic?

just got a bunch of parts from friends-

FMIC (srt4)

exhaust manifold, turbo (.70) wastegate, fuel rail.. (all from an FD)

I want to set up a single turbo with fmic, is it fine to just use this FMIC from the srt for a bit? im only looking for a temporary kit to swap out parts 1 by 1.

you can use the SRT4 intercooler but they are not rated for very high HP, that is why for 400hp app they change the intercooler, it is cool to use it for now but its a waste of money if you have to do new intercooler piping when you change it out again, its your chose. you could always use the ebay intercooler, i've seen guys get great results with hose, like 500hp good results.

get a cheap ebay core..guys run in the 10's with those things..the factory srt4 intercooler is heated soaked after 3 consistent pulls

 OR, you could try just building the car correctly from the start... I know, it is a crazy idea....but it just might work.

jesus fucking christ.

build your car RIGHT, with QUALITY shit - NOT hand-me-downs.

you're only going to cause yourself more headache, and cost yourself more money in the long run. you want to go single turbo, do you have a PFC and all the associated parts to make it work RIGHT? FD's are not the kind of cars to just slap on parts your friends aren't using anymore.

If that turbo a/r is the hot side its too small for a rotary. You need at least around a .84 so it doesn't choke it in the higher rpms
