Speedo Problems

Guys

Ive had my rx7 (1997) for approx 6 months and so far so good, i love this car! :) But a few weeks ago the speedo kinda cuts in and out like there is a loose connection!, Ive taken the speedo cluster out and cant see any issues there so i wanted to check the connectin in the engine bay. Can anyone point me in the right direction where this connection is? Im assuming its electronic so it comes out of the gearbox?

Any help would be appreicated as its getting really annoying :wallbash:

if you have a 5spd,its in the extension housing, passenger side.check out the FSM for troubleshooting. They are accessible from this section.

Ummm you will have to be a little more specific, is this a connection i can reach from the engine bay or do i get to this connection from under the car?

Any diagrams would be really helpfull :)

Look there are all the diagrams you need in the FSM,why not use your fingers.Of course you cannot reach it from the engine compartment, get under the car and you can access it,

It may not be mechanical.
