Speed/Speedometer Sensor

Is the speed sensor for an auto and manual tranny in an FD the same part?? I have done quite a bit of research on here and could not find that tidbit. I seems the only ones I can find for sale are autos. Mine is intermittent and needs to be replaced according to the previous owner. Thanks.:Wconfused

The speedometer sensors are different for the auto and manual transmissions.
