A-spec Oil Pan

Just want to know if anyone using the A-spec oil pan in here? my oil pan is leaking like there's no tomorrow. I'm looking for a long term fix. So beside that anymore suggestion? I know the oil pan bracelet is a pretty good fix. but i cant find it no where and the group buy doesn't have it anymore. Thanks for all the help.

Those upgraded cast pans are generally not recommend for street cars. If they get damaged, they just crack open and dump all your oil. The stock pan will just dent.

If you have leaks, I would recommend just getting a new stock oil pan and then a brace from Gotham Racing or Garfinkle:

Gotham Oil Pan Brace

To be honest; if you buy a new pan and seal it properly, it will hold for MANY years. The problem most people run into is that their pan is all warped, therefor doesn't seal that well.

I read somewhere in the forum said the gotham racing oil pan is nothing compare to the garfinkle one. is that ture? also what else i need to buy beside just the brace, IIRC i have to buy the oil pan stud kit right?

The Garfinkle piece is nice, however they both get the job done. You can buy the extra hardware with the Gotham piece, it's listed on their site for an extra $25.

No changes to the mounts or clearance problems with my Cusco strut bar. The only changes have to do with the engine mount and pan bolts/nuts. With the added space of the brace, new hardware is needed for those.

if you use the stock strut bar and GReddy elbow with any oil pan brace you will need to mill the mounts down.
