Spark Plugs

Well I need to change my spark plugs, my car is running seriously rich and I don't want to deal with fouled plugs. I was going to wait until I was ready to get her dyno tuned, but that won't be for atleast 2 weeks(waiting on parts), so I figured I'll bite the bullet, replace the plugs now and then replace them again in 2 weeks so they'll be fresh when I get it tuned.

However, I was jsut curious, do I have to change the wires with the plugs? The wires on there look fine so I don't really see the point in replacing those if I don't have to.

My question: Can I just change the spark plugs and not mess with the wires? This seems like a LOT easier than taking everything off to get to the wires.

If I'm way off base here, let me know, but don't flame my question, don't bring that crap to my post. :)

If your wires are good, just change the plugs. I wouldn't worry about changing the wires until you've got ignition problems, the wires look bad or you've already got the uim off.

Thanks Lupe, I just double checked and the wires are already aftermarket Rotoracing or something, couldn't really read it because of bad lighting, so I'm just going to pick up a set of NGKs and change the plugs.

Another question, I have 1300cc inj, cosmo fuel pump, full 3" exhaust(hiflow cat, soon to be midpipe), mild streetport motor, fluidyne radiator, large smic(on the way), upgraded air intake, and PFC, should I run all 9 heat or still do the 7/9 setup? Thanks! :)
