Spark Plugs
 

What sparkplug do you guys recomend for a stock 1993 R1, i know it recomends NGK but what # and can i run other brands with out scrweing things up

most poeple run NGK 9s.

I suggest using the stock NGK BUR-7EQP (leading) and BUR-9EQP (trailing) plugs. All 9s will only make your cold idle worse on a stock car. These NGKs have proven themselves to be the best for your application, so I don't suggest trying other brands or plug styles.

I too suggest that you stick with the stock NGK plugs. Although other plugs might be better like HKS they probably aren't worth the extra money especially on a stock car. However if you would like more info I have been conducting long term testing on the various plugs available for our cars. The current results can be found on my site.
