Spark plug help

my 94 fd has all the common upgrades like intake exhaust fmic clutch downpipe etc.
I am purchasing new spark plugs and the RP fuel pump next, I was looking around and all I could find was the NKG platinum OEM replacement plugs are those gonna provide enough spark for my car or is there a better performance set available for an fd

The platinum 9's (all around) are pretty good for your current setup. How much boost are you pushing?

If you are pushing a lot of power the standard platinum's *might* blow out (I ate through a set of 9's, leading and trailing, in about 3 1/2 months pushing 380whp@ 16psi on the BNRs)... I'd get an ignition amp (HKS Twin Power is common, easy to install and works great) and if the plat 9's can't handle it than upgrade to the NGK racing ones (they *do* make them in 9 heat range now, though most websites don't reflect this yet). Call RP (www.rx7.com) to order the racing plugs if you need... though at $35 a plug it's expensive, so I wouldn't do that unless you need them.

will the walbro fuel pump ($125) with a flow rating of 255 lph do enough for me or do I really need the rp competition pump ($260)

Depends on where you are trying to go with your car in terms of long-term mods. Personally I shied away from the Walbro unit in favor of the Bosch 044, but then again I was going for big HP on twins. If you aren't looking to push high power through your system (350whp+) than I can't see needing a uber fuel pump. Simply re-wiring the existing stock pump could satisfy your needs just fine. It all depends on where you plan on taking your car, in the near term, and further in the future..

Though, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what the Walbro 255's peak capability is.
