sparco hub doesn't fit momo steering wheel!

Ok guys, i have a big problem, i was installing my sparco hub ... and when it was finished, i just realized the momo wheel wasn't fitting in the holes of the hub .. ! sparco hub is supposed to fit a momo wheel, right? I have a Millenium EVO Momo Steering wheel (320mm)..

Now, the other problem is that my hub is stuck on the steering column and i cannot remove it! I have been able to remove the 21 mm bolt but the hub is stuck... Someone suggested me to get a steering wheel puller .. that would be the only chance i would get to remove this thing..

Do you guys have some ideas? (please don't tell me SEARCH, i'm so pissed out now)

Thanks in advance,

Max

On my FC, I had a Sparco wheel on a Momo hub - worked great. I'm pretty sure they have the same pattern.

I didn't even think Sparco made hub adapters, to tell you the truth. Sure it's not a Nardi? I thnk Nardi is different.

Yeah, it's gonna take some creativity to pop that hub off with no steering wheel attached. You could probably remove the center 21mm nut, find a metal bar to drill holes in and bolt to the hub, then pull the bar to pop the hub off. A steering wheel puller likely won't help, as it's designed to bolt to two extra threaded holes in the steering wheel which the hub doesn't have.

Or, if you can even get like 2 holes from the steering wheel bolted to the hub, that might be enough to pull on the wheel to pop the hub loose.

Well, you got lots of time. The PFC will install in minutes and be up and running in well under an hour including the idle "learning" cycle. The turbo timer, 1/2 to 2 hours depending on how anal you are about wiring (I am very). Same goes for special mounting of the PFC Commander unit.

PS if you can not get a steering wheel puller to bolt up to hub, try a gear puller .. three claws fit behind hub

I went to a local speed shop and they sold me a momo hub. He told me had tried to install a sparco hub with a momo wheel and it didnt work. So, when i put everything on it was a piece of cake. I had previously tried to find a momo hub for the FD, but i couldnt find one. Appearantly momo does make one, or else the guy that ordered it simply knew which one to use. If you can't resolve your situation, pm me. I can always swing back up there and ask him which one. Good luck

NARDI> all! No wonder it doesnt fit, sparco probably sold you the FB hub, mistakenly makred as the FC one. Momo has two different ones as well, but they have separate parts numbers. Looks like Sparco guys screwed up on that one, eh?

I had this idea to put a woodgrain 3 spoke wheel on my c220 daily to match my trim... but alas, no one makes a hub for this model of mercedes!

Man, I want a seven... perhaps I'll sell the benz and get an FC after this winter.

EDIT: what I meant by "doesnt fit" is the fact that the tolerances are too tight and he cant remove it... the FB and FC/FD hubs are really simmilar except for the tolerances and this little wierd bit on the back.
