Source for cowl plug and hood prop retainer
 

On the grand scale this isn't huge, and hopefully not a re-post....

I've been missing one of the plugs that cover the screws holding down the cowl. It's visible just below the windshield and always bugged me. Also last winter while doing the rebuild on my engine I broke the hood prop retainer. I meant to call Ray @ Malloy but never remembered when I had him on the phone for something else.
Today I went to one of those U-PULL-IT lots to get a couple of things for a project car and found out that both the plug/cover and the hood prop rod retainer are exactly the same as the 2nd Gen. Probes. I popped off a few extra of each and the guy at the counter didn't even charge me for them.
Might be old news to some, but since I've seen both of these missing or broken on other FDs, I just thought I'd share. :)

The plug in this pic is upside down. Most looked a little sun faded and grayish, but a little Armorall and they came back to life pretty well.

Installed with just a little bit of silcone adhesive caulk. Shouldn't come off again unless I want it to.
