Sorry If I Sound Like A Newb....I AM
Hey everybody im new to the whole rotary scene in a way. i love the site i have done alot or reading and researching. anyways to get to the point quicker i am only 16 years old i purchesed my first rx-7 about a year ago. A 84 FB GS which i have recently rebuilt and ported with my mechanic and ive fell in love with these brilliant motors ever since. about 3 months back i purchased my 87 FC and about 2 weeks ago i finally got to the big dawg. a rebuilt 95 FD! all b4 my 17th birthday :) , soooo i am very paranoid about this FD especially since every1 keeps telling me how high maitnence they are. on top of that the car has a rebuilt tittle. but i only know so little. these motors and these cars fascinate me but i am a little scared because i do not want to experiment too much and blow my motor brand new car. but im a very curious kid so i wanted to find out more on how these cars work becuaese of course i wanna be a rotary mechanic someday. so me and my friends pulled out the back hose on the blow off valve to it can sound like a real turbo and to frighten all these little hondas running around of course. and i recently took off the air box to see how everything works and when i started the car up!!! JESUS it was a beast. sucking in air like some monster and the BOV....forget about it. I wanted to know if this is affecting my engine in a negative way or just a better way to kill gas and rape ricers. i love the noise and the power but its not worth beating on my engine. Sorry if u guys feel like i didnt "search enough" but i will appreciate all the help and opponions and hope to learn from all you rotary gods out there. Thanks for reading!! :)
LOL sorry about the essay!
If only i can do this in school!!
