Yup, I always take note of my mileage if I ever have to leave my FD with a shop of monkeys. You can always snap a time/data stamped digital pic of the odometer. At this point, I never leave the car anyway. Last time I had a 4 wheel alignment, I stayed with the car, and watched the jackasses scrape my front lip twice b/c they went over bumps too fast. Oh, and they wouldn't let me drive it on the machine so the monkey tech almost damaged my car b/c he didn't know how to drive a 6 puck. Morons, all of them :thumbd:

I got to the point that I take my wheels off the car and take them to the shop for balancing or for new tires.

well i was there the whole time with the car then they damaged the studs. So i had to pik it up the nest day.

My Lude isnt worth a fraction of some of your FD's and I'm the same way. People have no respect for other people's property, especially when its something you take great pride in. I don't care if I'm there all day, I stay with my car if someone else is doing work on it. They all hate it because I'm always yelling "Don't touch that!", "That doesn't need to be checked!", "It's fine like it is!" and the one kicker, "You're not doing it right!"

Most good tire shops will note your mileage when you bring it in (and its usually printed on the receipt so you can check it when you leave). However, what was your boost pattern before you took the car in? The stock system should see 10 PSI, but I'm not sure if you are stock or if you have been just running your boost lower.

16 inches is ok (but not great) for a stock port motor. A lot depends on the mileage on your motor.......you don't know what it was at before?
