Solutons to FD Problems?

Hey everyone,

I checked the forum for past threads, but can't find. I wanted to check what the root of the problem is since a particular FD I'm looking into has the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear is making noises while the 4 and 5 are okay. And the radios isn't working properly.

Thanks

Simple mechanics. The transmission is probably trashed. The synchros in the transmission are what allow you to go into each gear smoothly. Those three gears being bad would make me *closely* check this car out. Those are the main three gears you use when racing, strip or street. I probabaly would pass up whatever car that is, unless it was just perfect. (Maybe the driver just was an idiot and couldn't drive.)

Radio is easy, and if you are worried about fixing that, I would think twice about one of these cars. They are like women. A total pain in the a$$, very moody and always need fixing. But we love them regardless. :D If you don't know how to fix problems, with the simple stuff, make sure you can afford to pay for the repairs. They will be nuts if you are just paying a mechanic for stuff....
