Single oil cooler

Although all cars (FD's) in my country run dual oil coolers as standard I'm considering goin g back to an aftermarket single setup. My oilcoolers have many bendt fins and reusing themw ill take a long time to rework.

Also I'm planning to make a custom airbox in GF or CF in the passenger side oil cooler location.

What would be a decent size single cooler to use and to cope with oil temps?

The car will be driven only weekends, both street and occassionally track.

I have searched but most threads deal with a conversion from 1 to dual coolers

The hard part, would be where would you mount a large single oil cooler that will not interfere w/ incoming air that flows to the radiator. Unless you run a larger single cooler on the one side, but that doesn't make much economic sense, as you will only see a marginal gain versus the amount of money you spent.

If you are doing track days in over 85F conditions, I do not recommend your idea. Otherwise, you could get by with a single 25-row cooler but the performance may be slightly worse than stock duals (or at best, the same).
