1.3 liter.

There is a huge thread on this subject. Do a search, it's worth the read.

Basically, the 13B FSM (Factory Service Manual) indicates that the displacement of each rotor is 654 cc, which gives you the 1300cc displacement.

However if you compare the power pulse cycle of a rotary engine to a piston engine, it can be argued that there are twice as many power pulses in a rotary, so people say it should be called a 2.6. But there is not 2.6 liters of displacement.

Mazda won Lemans with the 4-rotor 787B car with, I think, 3.0 liters, but they outlawed it after that. Totally freaked them out, I guess.

It's like comparing apples and oranges. Just not the same thing. There is no 13B engine with 2.6 literes of displacement...just 2.6 liters of power.

But that's why the rotary engine RULES.

Do a search and ignore the trolls like the dork above. e hasn't figured out he's still a noob, too.

Better check again. The 787B you just mentioned in the previous paragraph had a "2.6 liter" R26B 4-rotor engine... :D

just 2.6 liters of power.
And 5.2+ liters of gas consumption...

Oh yeah, and Jimlab isn't a noob. Just an arrogant wizard. You should read his V8 thread. It's not about tomato juice.
