should i buy this R2!!! Help

hey guys..

I was gonna post in for the for sale section, but i wanna ask some of you tech guys as well...

I just sold my 94 MB touring Auto and i am now looking to buy another 7, preferebly (94-95 R2)..
I found a MB 95 R2, w/ about 85.5k miles on the speedo and 10k miles on the new motor. I'm not sure if the motor has been ported when it was rebuilt or its stock.

The int/exterior is in great shape aside froma couple of door dings and all. Car also has some nice Enkei 17" wheels and new Toyo T1-S tires. Mods are Petitt cb, RE amemiya intake and a greddy BOV. Car is in great shape...

What is max i should pay for this car considering the info i provided. Thanks a million guyS!

are you sure this is a MB R2??? Cause they didnt make a MB R2... Could it be a base model?

Goober's right, no MB R2s.

Does it have the fake suede seats and no cruise control? It's a base model then.

If it has cruise and leather, probably a PEP.

Hey Kenny,

what other mods does it have? downpipe, ast, radiator, vacuum hoses, suspension? Anything other than you've listed?

If the compression on the motor checks out (you must find this out) and the boost is good, I'd say somewhere in the $17k range. It has a decent amount of miles on it but it is a 95, which makes it pretty desirable.

I may be a little off on the price, but that's a sweet montego....and it's *5spd*! I know how much you sold your slushbox fd for, and I'd go after this one....from what you posted, it sounds pretty good!
