Should i buy?

Im found a rx7 im interested in buying, the price is pretty cheap but may have engine trouble.

heres its destription....

The car was imported and driven back from Newcastle, although not a spowerful as I thought (280bhp) it does move when the accelerator is pressed and is also very quiet at speed, the turbo seems to wheeze after taking the foot off the accelerator so may need attention but then again it may not, I don't know much about them. On idle the car tends to indicate that is is struggling to stay powered but I am sure that this is simply a matter of increasing the idle speed.

Nice interior, clean and looked after. Turbo and Water temp dials on the front driver side spar.

Alarmed with remote.

Momo Steering Wheel but the steering wheel console is loose as though some plastic is missing.

The outside is clean but has a few scratches, the passenger side front headlamp has a scratch, the driver front wing has a scratch and to top it off the kids put a new one on the passenger rear side 3 hours after I parked it on the drive. The driver side rear sill has a slight bump as you can see on the photo.

The aerial does not work, the cd/minidisk/radio does.

The engine is very, very clean as you can see from the photos.

Wheels are good with very slight scuffs, tyres are again good.

Overall a good car, not great but wih a little work it could be.

I it worth buying or could it be a major/expensive problem to fix???

Where are the pics?
Idle problem could be vacuum hose related and, weezing from turbo could be the air pump and not turbo

I would get a boost gauge and see what the boost pattern is, then get a compression test done.

It may well have a boost leak or boost control system problem, but that's not the same as a bad engine or bad turbos. But you should protect yourself as much as possible. Check the buyers guide links in the FAQ sticky thread.
