shifting problem? (searched forum already)

First time driving an FD upgraded from a 95 Honda Civic Ricer :D Well first thing I've noticed is shifting gears. When I change into gears I notice it sometimes has resistance until it finally "pops" into the gear. I usually notice this at lower gears. Is there something wrong with my clutch/shifter or is this how the FDs are? I did get the clutch replaced replaced about 10K miles ago, but it still feels exactly the same.

It's normal, it's not as smooth as the hondas.

It is somewhat normal.. also depends on the mileage/condition of your synchros. I also find that the more the car(transmission specifically) warms up the easier it is to shift, when I first roll the car out and start driving it I take it a little easy. You might want to try switching your tranny fluid to Redline or Neo Synthetic.. I guarantee you will notice a difference after that.

shotcaller: welcome to the world of the FDs. the hard shifting is just the personality of the car- get used to it.

my car isn't that difficult.

Make sure you are depressing the clutch all the way..
