shell out the rear end?

If I have the rx7.com launch kit. and am producing around 370hp at the wheels?

if im running street tires and not launching hard like you would at the strip the stock rear end should hold up for some time wouldnt you think?

since if all else the tires would spin and not hook and cause loads of strain?

Have you gotten a diff brace? If not than I would suggest checking out www.banzai-racing.com for their brace. It's pretty nice and I had a VERY noticeable decrease in wheel hop after installing it. There will be a bit of vibration, but nothing terrible, it will def help tighten up everyting and save your differential.

Anytime you spin the tires you run the risk of breaking something. When the tire grabs traction it shocks the axles and diff. It sounds like you are doing most of the right mods but if your drag racing you need some kind of tires that hook better than street tires.
