Series 8 rx7 Headlights

I'm interested in getting a late model rx7 but dislike the look of the pop-up headlights when they are up. What do the small lights below the pop-up lights do??

Are they just indicators or are they also headlights? I'll prefer to drive the rx7 through the night with the pop-up lights down....

I do not want to replace the pop-up lights with the c-west type lights..

What can i do?

Thanks

Buy the 99 clear turn lights and have HID's fitted into them. Once you're done with all the research in perfecting them, sell them to the rest of us as a kit. HEHE.

hehehe....
If i buy the 99+ spec rx7 that already comes with the turn lights, can these be used as head lights?

I can see that there are two small lights. A white one and an amber one. I assume one is for turning but is the other the actual head light?

the headlights are the headlights. you are referring to the running lights which are not a substitute for using the headlights.

get REALLY big fog lights. anyways um yeah those are driving lights... they go about 3 feet in front of the car. so no i dont think you can use them. you need to get a sleek kit like rotaryextreme.com 's, re-a, c-west, or the east bear if you wanna get rid of the stock lights
. otherwise you are stuck with popups.

I like my sleek headlights. :D

they also make a kit of lights that are pop ups but are slim pop ups which means they only go up an inch or two so they are very low profile which you might look into.

Sparkey, i like the idea of the low profile lights...

Can you legally use big foglights?? How about the ones that come with the 99+ spec??

Popup lights, while really impractical, look sexy as hell in the down position :)

I would say no. The DoT has some pretty strict regulations regarding headlights.
