sequential question

1. Which block off plates do I need to still run sequential?

2. I am going simplified sequential and need to know how many and what kind of resistors I need to put in my harness?

3. I just installed my new Profec B spec II in the version two setup and removed the hoses going to and from the PC and WG solenoids ( like Damian set up his halmanns). I was wondering if there is any reason why I can’t remove that mess of a vacuum rack that is bolted to the primary turbo elbow.

Thanks

Mike

1. Well, you don't need any BOPs to run sequential. Your question doesn't make any sense.

2. Well, that depends on how many solenoids you are removing.

3. What mess of a vacuum rack bolted to the primary turbo elbow?

Have you even read through the simplified sequential write-ups? They are pretty darn thorough.....

Any lines running to the primary turbo elbow are there for a constant source of vacuum. If you can find a better source for constant vacuum on the car, you can relocate those lines.

1. i mean like double throttle, EGR and all the ones i can take off with still running the stock computer and sequential.

3.there are hard lines that the vent on the PC and WG actuator were hooked to. i capped them off and took the computer out of the loop. there are two hoses hooked to it still that run to the turbos and i hate looking at that thing.

1. Well, you need a BOP for whatever you remove! It's all in the write-ups.
3. As Mahjik said, various systems need constant vacuum, they have nothing to do with the sequential system (crankcase ventilation, oil injectors, etc).

oh ok.. i have the simplified diagram but havent found a good write up through my searching of this site and other sites.

using Rob Robinettes diagram makes it a very easy job

i believe that removing the emissions sensors and other sensors will show a "check engine" light on the stock computer though....correct?

i never got any, they may be stored codes but the light never came on.

good to know

That's why you run resistors, which is covered in the link!
