Stock turbo, garrett equivalent

Looking to go for twin turbos with similar boost response.

What garrett turbos are similar to the stock Hitachi ht12

I'd just go with a single turbo the 7670EFR with the turbosource short cast manifold spools insanely fast

Quicker than stock so I'm told. I'll find out next month.

People have tried to do custom twin turbo setups over the years. It's a real nightmare of plumbing, and I don't know of anyone that has done 2 aftermarket turbos with a sequential control system.

The BNR stage 3 turbos work so well and make great power that there's just not really a good reason to pave your own way. People have made 400hp on them and they bolt right on.

I don't recall my 7670 being quicker than stock twins. But certainly comparable, w no noticeable loss in performance from a standing start. Transient response while hwy cruising is definitely superior, though.

If you use the turbosmart actuator, and boost controller you definitely will. I have made 30 psi by 3000rpms on multiple cars. Never been able to do that on the stock twins, albeit havent tried as hard...
