I had those on my FD before, but they were too difficult to tune them down. I was boosting about 14-15lbs WITH the boost controllers in. They did be worse than leaving it haha.

Originally posted by Fatman0203 Bleeder valves are the ones at boostcontrollers.com?? Cause I plan to do exactly what Damian did once I save the money for it. The ones shown on the Rob site are bleeder valves. They are ok to use to keep the boost down until you can afford something better, but they do hurt performance. |
Aye that what I thought but wasnt sure. Ya I had read it before. Personally Im not into electronic, I mean is there a BIG difference? Is there any advantage except the lil gadgets that the Profec B has and stuff?

Is there any advantage except the lil gadgets that the Profec B has and stuff? It's also much easier to turn up or down your boost. There may be some cases where you want to crank the boost down (maybe someone else is driving the car, on a road course where you don't want to generate too much heat, etc) and it's much easier to slap a few switches than to get out of your car, turn a few knobs, test to see where you are at, etc... |
Aye I see =/ , oh well I wanted a bit cheaper but thanks for the advice. The ones that Damian used are not even that good?

That's why I love the PFC and Mazda WG solenoid.
