Search button let me down (for the first time)

Hey all!

I searched, and I am not sure if I typed my queries correctly, so here I am.

Details/Mods:
Went Non Seq. Did it the real deal way; no half assing.
Ported Wastegate
Exhaust, mid, and front pipe.
Greddy SMIC
RE Intake.
Removed Airpump
Removed double throttle
Power FC
TB Coolant delete(Not really applicable, but....)
Profec (old style. profec A)
Had the Power FC tuned on the dyno by RX7 Store

Currently, I have the Profec turned off, and I get a rock steady .5 bar on boost. Is this normal or does it sound low? Am I correct in thinking that when the profec is turned off, that the boost will behave as if there were no boost controller hooked up?

Sounds about right, given the ported wastegate and stock-ported motor. You are wrong regarding the boost controller, when off, it will act like the wastegate line restrictor pill has been removed, not as if there were no boost controller.

Just who I wanted to answer! How are ya T?

The reason for all of this is kinda simple.
When I originally tuned the profec, it was for seq. So when I went to get it tuned after the mods, they couldn't get it to go past 12 psi. I didn't have a manual boost controller, and they didn't have any profec b's in stock. So they advised that I get the boost situation resolved, come back and tune up to 15psi. (I'm not going to run that way all the time, just for a little fun at times)

So after I had rechecked everything to ensure no boost leaks, thats when I realized that I forgot to retune the profec.

What I am driving at is, I wanted to ensure I didn't have a problem before I started to tune the profec. If my boost levels were low and I tried to tune the profec, I could see this getting into a chasing my tail situation. For some reason, I had it in my head that I should be at about 10psi with everything stated as above.

Well, to me, if you are hitting 7 psi with the wastegate open, you don't have any boost leaks. No significant ones anyway. If it holds 7 psi until redline, I would say you have no leaks.
