PC 680

My Dekka is dead and I want to try something else.

i have a pc 680 (mini battery)..only had it for 6 months...and 5 1/2 of them were winter, and it was disconnected... :squint:
so i really can't comment on it ...but it started the car when it needed to.... :)

i've got a Westco Miata battery that i'm sticking in the bin behind the passenger seat. but i haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet. i've got a Hella kill switch that i'm hoping will prevent any parasitic drain while the car's shut off.

Go with a pc 925. Its lighter than stock and has much more cranking power and reserve capacity than the 680. I always see problems with the 680s.

+1 for the 925.

May I recommend also running a ground cable from the negative terminal to one of the starter mounting bolts. My car definitely cranks and starts better than when I didn't have that cable.

+1 for the westco miata battery. Just did the battery relocation and it fits great in the passenger bin with NO cutting (except for small holes to mount it securely) and provides ample cranking power. Not to mention it only wieghs about 25lbs....

The pc925 is about 25 lbs as well. The miata battery is ok for the price, just not nearly as durable.
