Seal/gasket for feed type 2 wing

Hi all, I bought a used feed type 2 wing. Is there a gasket or seal that is supposed to go where it mounts to keep water from getting under and through the rear hatch? If so, where do you get them from?

Thanks

Mine had rubber padding on the mounts that compressed when you bolted the wing down, making everything water tight (and keeping my paint from getting scratched). Maybe you can make something like that.

I've installed about 4 of these wings. I've had good success going to a Crafts store like Michael's and buying a foam sheet, using the wing base to trace out a template and gluing it with some adhesive. PM Me if you need any help.

most the time they don't come with any! Which is silly, I buy a 2mm thick adhesive rubber sheet, then I draw around the mounting leg, then cut out the shape, measure and mark the bolt holes on it, cut em out, stick it on and job done, water tight and no annoying metal on metal sound at speed

Sounds like that's what the previous owner of the wing I had did to his.

Best looking aftermarket wing on the...um...aftermarket. :icon_tup:
