Rynberg -

Yes, that works. Thanks.

May be worth modifying the link in the FAQ sticky - if that can be done

Oh Rynberg, since you're so enthusiastic, maybe you can update that FAQ?? There are a bunch of broken links in it :D

exactly how do you pronounce Scuderiaciriani???

FDNewbie 10-27-05 01:33 PM

Step 1 is to realize it's not one word ;)

"Scuderia" is one word, and "Ciriani" is another.

Scuderia: Scuderia Ferrari is the common name for the Gestione Sportiva, the division of the Ferrari automobile company concerned with racing. Though the Scuderia and Ferrari Corse Clienti continue to manage the racing activities of numerous Ferrari customers and private teams, Ferrari's racing division has recently devoted its attention and funding to its Formula One team, Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro.

Ciriani: After Steve Cirian, the website's founder, from back in 1995

I'm too lazy to look this up to check, but Scuderia Ciriani is Italian for "Cirian Racing"

Done.

(I had to disable those little green links, which were finding their way into the text while I was editing)

I thought "Scuderia" meant "stable"? Sort of a double meaning, given Ferrari's emblem?

thanks for the lesson. it was informative and stimulating :p:
