Safe on stock ECU? (#102914901)
I have mostly de-modded my car, but I'd like to keep a few things on my car so that it isn't TOTALLY stock. I was wondering if it would be okay to have these modifications on a stock ECU/stock wastegates:
Downpipe "high-flow" cat RB dual tip catback (???)cheap bastard intake mod(???) I guess if need be I could get my hands on a stock main cat, but I'd really rather not put the stock pre-cat on (wouldn't want to bake my engine bay). So do you think I could run these few little mods? I mean I'm not looking for tons of power, I just a) don't want to bother swapping things out under the car and b) I want to keep my car sounding the way it does now. |
Of course, just keep the boost to 10 psi.....

There is nothing illegal about a boost controller, or any of your other mods for that matter. Let the assholes pound sand. :)

The old Profec B (now called the Type S) is a simple and reliable boost controller. I didn't want a bunch of fancy "features" or any of that. It is easy to adjust, has two easily selectable boost settings, and is inexpensive.
