RX7 wont start

well i started my car today for the first time in a couple weeks, it started right, but and was running fine, so i went in my house, and when i came out 10-15mins later my car wasnt running. I tired to start it back up, but the battery was low, so i charged it. ANd now it wont start...it cranks over and sounds like it wants to start...is it flooded?

weres the link to the deflooding stuff?

its a 93 fd

hopefully it didn't overheat while you were inside and caused it to turn off,and most likely it is flooded.Remove your plugs, dry them out, remove the fuel pump fuse, cover your wires(fuel and spark isn't good at THAT point)and crank the engine two or three times at about five seconds each crank(without the plugs).Place or REplace your plugs(I'd buy new ones),pump fuse back on and start your car!

P.S. That's how I start mine if and when it gives me a prblem after sitting for a while. It is possible someone else can have a better way or a safer way of doing it,and if that's the case,do a search on deflooding and get your answer.Good luck

Sounds like something other than just flooding. I would still start with an unflooding procedure but I wouldn't hold my breath that it's the answer.

Do you want to take some time this week to check it out?

Dave
