Nice..

A stock FD is more like 13.9 in the 1/4 mile not 13.5

neit_jnf 01-23-08 02:40 PM

interesting info on the twins!! never seen it before!

Kriss 02-27-09 02:04 AM

I was just looking around for FD specs... great article!!!

You know if the '95 Efini japanese version have same specs?

2RotorsNaDream 02-27-09 02:07 AM

Good find but alot of BS there though. 25mpg highway??? And 13.5 žmile and 4.9 sec 0-60 sound kind of generous.

CYD 02-27-09 02:35 AM

Wheres the co-efficient of drag? Missing info!! Fail...hahahaha

j/k great post.

FD3S2005 02-27-09 02:44 AM

would of been a little easier if you spaced out the models more

Yeah, that list of numbers was generated by an individual who looked at the Factory Service Manual, but then went and added some more. The 13.5 is about the fastest that a stock car ever went in the 1/4, probably a zero reaction run. A more realistic number is 14.0.

Coefficient of drag is .29 for the 93 rx7. I believe the newer JDMs had .3249 or something like that.

Nuh uh, man! Don' you know nuthin, dog? I have it on good authority that they run low 12s, and my cousin Mikey's dips into the 11s when he runs race gas!
Those magazines and all you haters don't know shit, man!
